Storefronts: Windows Into Our Time
Storefronts are invitations to visit a place that fulfills the wants and needs of our time. Lights, signage, window displays, and neighboring surroundings all give the store front a unique characteristic. I've compiled my paintings here that focus on the various types of shops and their enticing details. Perhaps I've lured the viewer into a mysterious setting to an ongoing story when I paint these facades. I let my imagination wander as I look for key elements of composition and key light effects during the few hours that I paint them.- "Courthouse Phamacy" Acrylic on panel 9x12 inches 2022
